    Thanks guys for your info, I got the I&T manual, but you make it clearer. Now I just have to find the parts, assuming I will also need gaskets and seals and whatever looks like it should be replaced. Don't have any dealers in the area I know of so will have to research that. Dick

    Stuck clutch on M

    I had to replace the clutch on one of my m's last summer, as the fingers on the pressure plate were worn off, in taking apart, 2 of the bolts from clutch to flywheel snapped off, last guy must of torqued them to 150 ft lbs or so.     had the same problem with one of my m's, finally after trying all the usual stuff, I took carb off, poured water in exhaust, it just poured out of the intake side (bottom) of manifold. determined the manifold had a hole in it between intake and exhaust sections. found a good one for 20 bucks...

    6600 with 329 motor

    my 6600 has the 329 diesel, and no problems with 20 foot header in beans, flax, wheat, canola. The old girl just keeps on threshing. Had to have the injector pump rebuilt this fall, but lack of power was not the issue. Just kept stalling on me. Dick ND

    thanks for the help guys, looks like the pump is dying, gonna take it to repair shop in the morning, they guesstimate about 600 bucks to overhaul. Not too bad a price if they get it right. Dick ND

    yep, good flow out of sediment bowl outlet, vent seems ok, even tried it with fuel cap off to eliminate possible vacuum in tank. Electric pump filled new filter in less than ten seconds. I was advised to check return line check valve for rubber bits from dampening ring in injector pump, will...
