    Using a Land Roller

Sounds like a perfect pattern. Thats how I'd do it, if I was rolling a field.

gear is a New Holland Now to get a rusted clevis apart

Do not put it in a coal forge! Nor charcoal. The heat will erode the threads FAST. Gas forge, maybe, but a torch is your best bet so you can concentrate the heat where you need it.

    old IH disk

Sink your disk in some plowed ground. Pick the wheels up and there should be enough friction and weight to do the job. Devin

    953 wagon worth?

I'd say no more than $100 because of the front axle. I just paid $200 for one in fair condition.

    Hydraulic Lift Cultivators

Even if you don't use them yourself, you'd make sombody's day for sure if you saved them from the scrapyard and listed them for sale. Devin

The first manuals I ever bought were I+T. They lit the shop woodstove nicely. Devin

Very nice! May I ask where you got the tachometer? I would like to add a tach to my Farmall 300 but it has never had one so I need to find the drive gears and drive cable too. Thanks!

    slime in tires

It has worked good for me. I only use about half as much as they say and it has worked fine. Fixed a 15.5 38 with it once. Worked great until it got below freezing. Then the tractor could be down for two days. Haven't had a tire shop ask about slime. I always blow compressed air in the valve...

Trying to find if JD made a 25-40 psi working range engine oil pressure gauge. Anybody know if any models used an actual gauge instead of a warning light? Thanks, Devin

    coolant change

I just flushed the cooling system on my 300. Used 1/2 lb Cascade dishwashing powder and ran it for an hour. Worked good. Coolant looked clean but brown water came out with the soap.

wanting to add oil pressure gauge to 3020

Hi, The oil pressure sensor to the warning light recently went haywire on my late 3020. I added a T fitting in there behind the injector pump to add an actual oil pressure gauge. Now I need to find a gauge that will work. Right pressure range (25 to 40 working psi) and the more it looks like the...

    300 live PTO adjustment problems

Before I tear into it, its probably best to ask... Tried adjusting the live PTO on my 300 with TA. It sounds and runs fine when engaged, but when I try to stop it, it squeals like both brake bands are engaged. I adjusted them with the two punched dots aligned and then backed off the screws 1...
