    420c

    The 420 was made 56-58. I have a 57. The reversers in these are junk. I have had mine for over 15 years. Most people I have talked with have removed them, as I have mine. They have clutch packs in them that will lock up. This sounds like it is your problem, not the motor.

    5 psi oil pressure

    Bob, If the motor is not makeing any " low oil pressure sounds", I would change the gauge or add a temp. one some where on the line just to make sure yours is not bad. Norm

    ALLIS CHALMERS B MODEL/SHUT OFF PROBLEM

    The shut off is on the mag. There should be a small metal tab that is to be pushed in to "ground out" the mag on the metal body. If this tab is missing, there should still be a small screw sticking threads out. Because you have to be off of the tractor to kill it, I think this is unsafe. To kill...

    9n weak hyd.

    I bought a 41 9n the other day, I thought every thing was good with it. The lift worked well with a half disk on it, but when I put my five ft hog on it it will not pick it up. Please tell me where to start looking for the problem. Thanks
