    Old SA200 stubby experts???

    Some older machines without idler had a engine speed control but many got changed over later with a idler and fine control. Most of the Lincolns with Wisconsin V4 didn"t have idlers you had a low and high speed throttle rod to change low high amperage output. Never heard them called stubby...

    Carb shaft, short rod under dash, cross shaft, long rod, stop rod in lever ??? Take a look at the parts catalog and you"ll figure it out. JD parts catalogs

    Growlers

    Google "armature growler" and many come up. Search online auctions and will probably find plenty cheap and not have to make one. They don't bring hardly anything at shop auctions today either.

    6030 clutch

    There was a special guage to initially set the fingers you need. After that also a gap guage and wrench used for adjustment. The service manual shows that. Sent you email from here.

    magneeto

    Depends on condition. There is and has been way too much over priced JUNK for RV2 mags on ebay and other auctions. One in excellent condition restored right is hard to find. Condenser not a problem use a film capacitor all the mag repair shops have replacements. Coils there are rewinds...

    If nuts or studs are rusted and stuck needing a blue flame wrench it"s not a simple change. Radiator and water pipe fan will have to come off probably and while you are that far well....

    730D pony coils (starting motor)

    It's been done before and they have ran fine that way. Just wire it up but you will need 4 coils it is a 4 cylinder engine and lots of wire so how much are you going to save? Why not just buy a new dist and new wiring harness and get it over with doing it right the first time ...

    Anyone ever put a electronic ignition system in a magneto?

    Pertronix is a 12V electronic battery powered ignition system. A magneto makes it's own power and if you hook a battery source of voltage to it will fry the coil and could ruin the magnet. A magneto is not designed for battery voltage and doesn't need it for a source. No one makes a trigger...
