    I found a 3 point disk on Craigs list. I havent actually seen the disk but the seller thinks it was made in the 1950s. It looks to be heavy duty, which I would prefer. Trouble is it may be too big for my tractor or maybe not. The disk is 8 and I was looking for a 6 disk. Do you think an 8 disk...

    Trouble running CASE S

    Could be dirt in the gas tank, clogged sediment bulb, etc. sounds like it is not getting enough fuel, if it dies when increasing the throttle speed. A stuck or defective float will cause gas to drip from the carburetor. Jim

    Transmission takes SAE 90. The torque tube takes hy-tran fluid. You need to replace the PTO shaft seal and 3 point piston O-ring accessible after removing the top transmission cover. Jim

    Case 530 rocker arm adjustment screw and nut

    Remove the valve cover on the top of the engine to access the rocker arm assembly, the adjustment screw should be obvious. Jim

    188 diesel, fuel shut off

    I have a 430 diesel and there is no spring as far as I know on the shut off. The cable should be snug in the outer sleeve of the cable, so that it shouldnt vibrate out. Jim

    Just a thought. Maybe move the tractor by pulling it and see if you can get it to go into a gear. Jim

    Fuel Pump Leaking

    My 430 with the Roosa master pump was only leaking on the outside of the pump at the throttle shaft. Was an easy fix not having to remove the pump from the engine. Believe it was an O ring on the shaft. Got the parts off eBay, but cant recall the seller. If the shutoff side of shaft is leaking...
