    Lots of issues but the biggest was low compression. Rustred suggested that I put it in gear and drag it around a bit. That broke up some of the crud inside and compression came up considerably. Then we added fuel and pulled it and it started within about 20 feet. After that it would start on...

    Plug wires look good and I have good spark. Initially I had two valves that were stuck. Didn't take much to get them moving again and I spent quite a bit of time working them to until I was satisfied that they were not sticking again. I feel good air movement on each cylinder.

    Spark looks good. It is 6 volt. I cleaned the grounds and got the starter spinning nicely. 6 teaspoons of gas in each cylinder? Seems like a lot. And thanks for your time and help on this.

    Either the needle is sticking now or the float is hanging up. I opened the main jet and no gas. Tapped on the carb and got gas but still won't fire. I will pull the plugs.

    I did. I installed it and it's at the almost point. It fired and tried to start but didn't. I got the best result by increasing the throttle half way so I think it's still starving for fuel. It isn't flooding out the carb now though. I tried 1, 1.5, and 2 turns out on the needle. Not much...
