Lots of issues but the biggest was low compression. Rustred suggested that I put it in gear and drag it around a bit. That broke up some of the crud inside and compression came up considerably. Then we added fuel and pulled it and it started within about 20 feet. After that it would start on it's own but wouldn't stay running. The float was sticking and shutting the fuel off. Found that it was rubbing the sides of the card. There is also a lot of play in the float hinge. Something that Rustred also pointed out early on but I missed. I was sure rewarding though to hear it run again. I have to give credit to @rustred . Everything that he suggested was spot on.
Now on to fixing other issues on it.
