    The rod that goes from the governor to the carb came loose once and my engine revved up to the point I thought it was going to explode. I forgot to put the cotter pin back in on the carb side of the rod so it just came out of the carb. That was an scary feeling trying to get off the tractor...

    LUC low compression

    I hooked my air compressor up to the front cylinder. The valves are definitely not seating. As I turned the engine over with the crank I could hear air coming out of the exhaust and then intake. Now to try and get the cylinder head off. I have the bolts soaking in penetrating oil.

    The plow for the JD L/LA is only a single bottom. What do you mean by blade? Without a picture it is hard to know what you have. I would say $200 is a fair price for a working LA plow.
