    New to me 8N

    My neighbor gave this to me. He rebuilt it about 10 years ago. Front Distributor. 6 volt with generator. He had it running just never finished the body work. He recommended I pull the plugs and put oil in the cylinders before I crank it. What kind of oil do I use to do that? I’m excited...

    8N side distributor timing gear

    8N died in the field. No spark. Noticed the rotor wasn’t turning. Pulled the governor the timing gear doesn’t spin. Fan spins and starter is strong. What do I got to fix? Side mount distribution, 12 volt conversion, electronic ignition.

    Hi, So I have a 43 8N front mount distributor. I found a parts tractor. Question is will the governor cover be interchangeable? The blue one is what I have the bare metal one is what I want to go to. So I can route oil lines. Is this possible anything I?m missing? I know someone is going to...

    Front mount distributor. 12V battery and alternator neg ground. Question about the automotive ignition conversion. Would I need the OEM ballast resistor with the 12V ignition coil? If so which one I?ve seen two different styles one ceremic one looks like stainless steel.

    Working on a Frankenstein tractor. 8N motor 9N rearend. PO ?upgraded? to a 12 volt system. Not sure if he did the coil. What else would case it to melt like this?
