    X3 on the hot re-torque although i have successfully cheated by adding a tank type block heater and letting it run until it opens the thermostat and radiator is warm. usually 5-6 hr. fred

    Parking brake

    Carried a 4X6 with a rope thru it on aF600 tender truck for 3 seasons. It had the drive shaft mounted drum brake that did NOT hold when in a down facing gate. Got to where i could open the door and toss it before backing in and hit it in proper unloading position 95% of the time. then pull away...

    New tires

    Lots of baby powder in the tire before the tube will help with wrinkles and also help with sticking to rim . Just how I do it thought I would throw it out there. fred

    TPSM? Tire pressure monitoring sensor

    There is a service kit available to replace just the grommet and retainer nut if they are aluminum or the stem itself is replaceable if they are just rubber. The sensor/stem can run $75 plus per wheel. I wouldn't replace the sensor until failures start occurring. Fred

    great tip!! makes me wonder if the heat shrink with the sealer/glue inside would work without having to wrap it and wait? my fingers don't cooperate with that intricate of work anymore. just throwing it out there fred

    Dodge truck electrical problem.

    In recent years somebody wised up and started making a single wire HEI distributor for these as they always were maintenance happy. For about $110 you can drop in a GM style distributor and toss the fine system that the dodge bros came up with. got 2 and like them a lot. Fred

    I would pull the motor and do it from that end. No balancing trans and or transfer case on a jack for me. Jmho. Fred
