    Thanks Mike. I've got lots of information on the later corner braces. I think I might go the prototyping way with this. I have one brother who is a design draftsman and the other brother is an engineer in a foundry. I think we can pull this off! It sure is good to know the right people. :-)

    I need a casting that was found on a John Deere manure spreader from 1912 - 1914. It is the left front corner brace and would be imprinted with part number 1308SC. Does anyone know of such a part or such a spreader that this part can be salvaged from? See image from parts catalog. Thanks! Gary
