    656 Gas/ 263/1966

The PTO gears and the T.A. run in oil. Most of it is splash lube but some oil but some does come down from above for the T.A. The best way to fix your problem is to drop the T.A. housing and put in all the seals. You can replace the PTO drive seal with just splitting the tractor behind the...

That carpment should be dry. Oil is leaking from around the pto drive shaft. Could also be leaking from the Ta. sun gear shaft or the T.A. Carrier. Would need to split ther tractor if any of the seals leak. If not leaking bad clean the hole out and let it drip

    Farmall 300 TA Question

If T.A. holds on low side the Ta is okay. I would suspect is out of adjustment on the small TA clutch that has to hold when the TA lever is forward. I would get somebody that knows how to adjust the TA. and make sure there is clearance between the fingers on the small pressure plate and the...

    706 Hydraulics

Could have more than one problem. Might be the relief valve, weak pump or blown o-ring on pump flange. The quickest thing to try is change the relief valve from another IH tractor. All valves will interchange from the 06 series to the early 86 series. Pressure are different but that won't hurt...
