Alternator not charging
I have a 47 8N and switched the generator over to a GM alternator. I am not getting a charge from the alternator. I have tried three new alternators and I am not getting any charging from them. Anybody have an idea why? Is there a good site to see the exact way it should be hooked up...- geedeegee

Sediment bowl Necessary?
I have an 8N and the sediment bowl was pretty corroded. So I removed it and installed an in line plastic filter. I have always had problems with the carb because of rust in the gas tank. The filter does an excellent job of removing small particles of rust. However, I am having problems...- geedeegee
