JD 272 mower tire mounting
The original tire is not available I searched the internet hi and low to even find the ones i got(that sadly don't fit) I'm just past the 30 day mark to return them Paid $80 CAD total incl shipping I was wrong on the $1000, i just double checked the quote i got last year from local john deere...- Gerben

No i haven't tried that yet, but 1/2" difference seems a bit much to stretch, or is that normal for split rims to be that tight? Seeing the old tires can be taken off without any effort, i realize they're old and dried, but would've assumed that they were tight on the rims- Gerben

Hi everyone I got an older john deere 272 mower The guide wheels/tires are worn tk the point that the one tire split and fell off Can only get new tires through John Deere dealer complete with wheel for about $1000 each😂 So i found 4x12 smooth solid tires online that are meant for mowers etc...- Gerben

ford 5000 clutch issue and PTO question
we had a look inside by removing the inspection cover and putting a camera in there, it is for sure a brake paw, not a band I'd have to look for the serial number -

would any of you have the part numbers for the: main clutch PTO clutch brake band hub support pto control valve shift linkage I did some googling, but there seems to be so many variants, that I'm quite sure I'll be ordering the wrong parts. -

the clutch you are referring to here is the PTO clutch? or the main clutch of the tractor? -

it seems to happen when the tractor is not moving as for the fuel issue, it has been resolved, junk in the tank plugging the ball valve, thanks! -

my tractor is randomly shutting down tonight as I'm mowing starts to sputter and then kills the engine tried to bleed all 4 lines on the fuel pump, after cranking for a long, long time(with intervals) finally 1 of the loosened bolts are getting wet from fuel then after lots more cranking all 4... -

thanks for the replies so far! sorry for my late response @sotxbill isn't the brake paw supposed to be adjustable from the outside? in regards to the PTO: it's spinning fast and is tough to stop, unless i have the mower hooked up to it, that seems to stop it, however once the mower is good and... -

my 1972 ford 5000 started to have random clutch problems as of lately when going back and forth on the yard to work up the gravel it often doesn't want to stop the tractor when i press the clutch, after pressing the brakes pretty good I can get it to stop and shove it out of gear. it's strange... -

thanks! , I had a look at the link you posted, I think I might be better off to just order a new tank sensor, as I don't think it's worth several hours of my time to try fix a $120 sensor;) -

Fuel sending unit on my ford 5200 seems to act weird I didn't read anything on the gauge, but when I ground out the wire it reads full I took the sebding unit out of the tank, and when i move it to full it reads full, when i slowly drop the float, the gauge also slowly moves, till just under... -
