Missing oil filter part critical for operation?
GGBB again.....this is the part in question. It could be the new elements have the center gasket as part of the oil filter element and the outer gasket is a separate extra. Was there a metal center piece at one time to join the two gaskets? Hard to tell by the drawing.- GGBB

Missing oil filter part critical for operation?
Hi: I have a 1944 9n with the original oil filter canister. I seem to be missing the part directly above the filter element canister. It's part # was 9N-9N6885. It looks like it is a sealing spacer of a sort. Is it necessary for today's OEM elements? Thanks....GGBB- GGBB
