    Thanks for the input, there are lots of New Holland Grinder/Mixers on Facebook Marketplace almost all of the time. Parts (new or used) should be available.

    Best Grinder Mixer?

    When the price of cattle comes back down to earth I plan to start feeding them again. I had feeder cattle 25+ years ago and used a Farmhand grinder mixer. There are lots of them on FB Marketplace and can't decide which way to jump. Initially plan to feed about 25 head and take it from there...

    Allis XT190 vs 200 transmission and rearend

    I do not think it is a secret the transmission and rearend are not the strongest points of the tractor. I mostly use mine for PTO work due to this. Does anybody know if the 200 has a stronger transmission and rearend? These old tractors are cheap HP compared to new stuff. Thanks, Bill.

    The schools are not the same anymore, if the kid shows up for work everyday and tries cut him some slack and teach him. The next young employee will be just the same.

    2950/2955 Decent tractor?

    Thanks for the input everyone. I saw a couple sell on online auctions much cheaper than I expected. One 2WD only brought $14K, hours unknown. Seller guessed 3500-4000. The pictures indicated the tractor was in below average condition. My guess it was 6-7 k hours. They are simple to work on...

    JD 2950/55 Thoughts

    I know the 2950/55 are utility tractors, not row crop tractors. Does anybody know if they will pull a 12 or 14 foot disk and a 6 or 8 row planter in clay soil?     Replacement 3010 Water Pump Doesn't Seem to Pump

    I am not familiar with your model of tractor but suggest you be sure your block is not full of air. Cummins B series are bad about air locking if you don't add the coolant slowly.

    JD 830 three point hitch

    Thanks for your response from the UK. I have been looking (not full time) 25 years for an 830 3 point hitch. Have not seen anything like you describe. Is there any way you could get us a picture(s)?

    I have been around this business 15 years as A Deere Employee, Two Cylinder Club member and retiree for 10 years and have had the same thoughts about a 3-point hitch for the 820/830 but have never seen one. Good luck in your search. Please post it on here if you figure out a way to do it.
