    1935 B shifter part.

    Does anyone know where I might find this part B382R. Its a full rum ball socket. Its the part that holds the gear shift, ball, and spring and bolts to the top for transmission. See picture below.. Mine still works but it is really worn and would like to replace it. Thanks for your help!

    1935 B throttle linkage ? Just acquired this tractor couple days ago. Got it cranked and runs pretty good but noticed a zip tie on the throttle spring and knew that wasnt correct for sure. Removed zip tie and now hard to get throttle set at a mid range idle. Its either low and goes dead or...

    Can you not rebuild your started? That is better than a aftermarket most times.

    Pull the plugs out and ground them to the frame and turn the flywheel and see if it is sparking when its supposed to. May need another set of eyes. It sure makes it easier. If its sparking before or after TDC. then you will need to retime the mag to the tractor.

    Yes sir, we did that and everything lines up correct now. The governor gear had to be moved to get the female end to be parallel. It is firing at tdc now so should crank when we get fuel hooked up. Thanks

    Working on a G with a friend and with the crank gear and cam gear marks lined up as the should be the governor gear and cam gear marks lined up as it should be. Now we roll the fly wheel to get # 1 up on compression at tdc. The lug on the gov. Where the mag goes is not Parallel as it should be...

    I pulled the distributor to put new rings in this engine and my question is how to replace the distributor. Can you put it in wrong? It looks as if it will only go in one way but I need to hear from some one if possible. My manual tells how to time the engine but not how to replace dist. Thanks...
