    The drill rod is almost certainly cold drawn stock, and it might be heat treated. In either case heating it enough to twist the keyways into alignment would weaken it quite a bit. How much depends on the alloy and initial heat treatment and it sounds like these things are not known. If the...

    I am considering starting to restore one of my JDs this winter and need to find a good, reliable sand blaster hopefully near Jeromesville, OH or somewhere in central Ashland Co. Any ideas? Parts will be things like front supports, steel wheels, final drives, cyl blocks, main cases, etc.
