    i have a jd 520 with the original auto fuel shut off. seems it has malfunctioned and i have got gas in crankcase. have any ideas on a fix? i would like 2 keep it original but at the same time i dont want 2 have 2 worry about this again.

    was wondering if anyone has any info as 2 whether or not there are any pluses or minuses to burning 100LL aviation fuel , which is 100 octane or more in these old john deeres?

    help with a serial number please!

    i have got an old jd 520lp, the serial number is 5200013. all i can find out is serial #520017 was used in the nebraska test #390 and serial #s start at 5200000. also found info stating that 5200017 was the 1st lp built, so this is confusing........ any help would b appreciated!
