    Ford 8N PTO Leak

    I have just been thru that.My new seal was metal,NO coating.Tranny lube leaked between seal and housing.Removed seal and applied coating of gasket goop,reinstalled seal ,NO leak.GP

    Recently purchased 780B Case backhoe. While changing hydraulic fluid filter, fluid looks milky. "water"? Question is how do I change fluid. Reservoir holds 15 gallons - system holds 28. What should be my next step? Thank you, GP

    Electric clutch

    Thanks for ALL replies.Our saw uses water mixed with soap for blade lube and cooling.My problem is the induced current when opening switch,very hefty spark at that time. I like idea using diode will seek local help TOOOO deep for this old grey head.Again thanks to all. GP
