    New Owner Asking For Help

And don't forget, while every Massey Ferguson is a Ferguson, a Ferguson is not a Massey Ferguson.

Worked on it VS Used your Fergie?

I've had mine for about 11 years now. Spent a lot on parts but haven't had the time to do anything to it. Anything from the diff case forward is in pieces in the shed. Everything else is under a tarp outside. Mine was my grandfather's. It spent years on his little farm, and yarding wood for...

    To30 advice

Try a bit of STP in the plug holes, WD40 is not very thick. The STP will give a bit of compression until it burns off. Fuel, fire, and air. You said you have fire, is the gas turned on? Is it getting to the carb. Try a bit of gas down the plug holes.

    Camshaft fever

My tea20 project has been on the back burner for about ten years now, but I might finally have some time to revisit her. I think we've had this conversation before, but my memory is a bit foggy. I obtained a replacement block. Had it cleaned up and flushed out. I slid the camshaft from the...

    Loader on ferguson to30

Without the live PTO, you would lose your hydraulics when you stop, but I guess you would have to take her out of gear and let the clutch out again. A crank mounted pump would be nice, I think they sell them here

    Serial number and date

The TE and the TO have the same engine don't they? But the transmission cover is 2 piece on the TO. Been away from this for a while. My Tea has been untouched for ten years now.

    Serial number and date

Be sure it's a Te and not a Tea, as the engines are different. When I first got my Tea20, I bought a book and it was for a Te. Everything else is the same, just different power plant.

    Davis Loader pump

Our Puckett grader used a Dodge coupler for the crank driven pump. Can you cut the weld on the pulley and re use it. A coupler would eliminate the need for bolt rubbers

    Running TEA20 without hydraulic fluid

Transmission, rearend, or differential, and hydraulics are all the same fluid. Unless you hold the clutch in,there are still shafts spinning inside the transmission.

    OT (just another crappy)

At least you can see some grass.

    some snow

Our last 3 storms have dumped almost 5 feet of snow in total on us. I hope the ground hog is right this year

    TO 35 3pt hitch

3pt hitch has no down pressure. The weight or design of your attachments do the work. Hydraulic up, gravity down. Even the big tractors are like that

    Aluminum Hood parts?

My tea20 had an aluminum hood, but the grill was steel. When I posted about painting the transmission, John told me whatever you do, don't strip it down to bare metal, but it was too late, I already did.

    Crank and bearing inspection

I agree, if you are gonna do a job, you might as well do it all the way. I think it is easier to change the rear seal with the crank out anyway. The crank should have no marks on it at all. A micrometer is best, as my crank was egg shaped, but you could use plastic gauge. Instructions are on the...
