    slow turning engine

    Did you clean were the starter mounts to the bell housing. One time I cleaned all the contacts no luck then I removed the starter it was rusted and had paint on it, cleaned both surfaces, made a big difference. worth a try. Greg

    starter housing broke

    I went to start my to20,. I heard a loud bang and the starter would not turn. I removed the starter and the housing that holds the bindex and the front bearing was broker off. any ideas why that happened. thanks

    Painting Your Tractor

    I painted mine Massey grey.It is a shade darker and I like it. I offset it with A blue seatcover .Plus I bought the paint on close out for five bucks a gallon.

    1951 H. Ferguson

    Ken , My TO20 use to flood. I set the carb float level several time ,no help. every time I forgot to turn the fuel off it flooded, and since I can't remember anything it flooded a lot.so I bought an electric fuel shut off from redrock mfg no problems any more.

    Side emblems on TO20 hood

    first of all Thank You for the replys. the parts manual states the same hood for TO 20's and 30's. and different side lables for the 20"s and 30's (just looked that up). So now I'm thinking the original 20's hood had no side emblems and no holes, when the 30's came out the hoods were drilled for...

    Side emblems on TO20 hood

    I have a TO20 with no (ferguson) emblems on the side of the hood. I noticed on a picture in a recent post ( ferguson at Newark England pt, 2) there was no side emblem on that Ferguson ether, and there no hole drilled in hood. Could someone please tell me why. thanks . sorry for the long post

    In the first picture I noticed that there were no Ferguson emblems on the side of the hood ,just the Ferguson emblem on the front.My TO20 1950 is the same way. I have heard a lot of different reason , none were the same. Could soneone tell me the reason for no side emblems. Thank you

    Tractor Ride/Passenger Seat Idea

    the best one I seen was a carry-all with a floor and a van seat.they raised it up on the ride and lowered when we stoped.I dont know how it rode but they sure had a good time on the ride.

    That knoedler seat is great, put one on a few years ago. It's a back and hinny saver on the tractor rides. there is a guy on the cockshut forum that has parts for them.
