    I had my grandfather put the combine in gear and hold the brake for a few seconds. The belts and pulley are all spinning. Combine not moving. Engine. Not working. I’m thinking that leaves just the clutch insides the transmission. The clutch pedal in cab has free play. So probably just a burt...

    Combine should be functional everything is working and adjusted according to book. Probably gonna need some fine tuning. But should be close. Except for I need two of the spiral noses come thing on the stalk rolls. Part number is disconnected. Hopefully I can find a parts head somewhere

    It does not have an idler pulley for traction drive. Belt is a little loose probably should get a new one eventually. Got a book on the machine coming so will follow the procedure for adjusting soon. Thanks everyone for the help. I’ve never ran a combine so any help is super appreciated!

    How do you look up old equipment on Agco website ? Agco only lets me look up newer equipment. Or anything made by Massey Ferguson.

    I bought the combine with 6 row corn head drove it home clean and greased and lubricated chains and shorten some. Only problem I have is when heeding up hill on the road in high gear the engine stays reved up but the combine slows to a crawl. Seems like something is slipping.

    John Deere B oil leak

    1945 John Deere b just rebuilt. Leaks oil between head and rocker oiler adapter. I can’t get it to stop. The book doesn’t show a gasket am I missing something?
