    Cub Lo-Boy 154 shifter

I know the loboy is IH, but I didn"t see an IH site so here is my question. I went to look at a mid-70"s IH Cub Lo-Boy 154 this morning. Nice tractor and the price is right. The only thing wrong with it is he only used 1st and Reverse and never the higher forward gears! So now it won"t go in...

    What oil for old Ford

32 coupe, I d[d'nt know manufacturers,Ford or others, recommended 16/40 for there vehicles! Especially in the colder months you need to get the oil up to the valves and lifters. Most cars and trucks I've seen lately require 5/30 and some high performance cars today actually require 0/20...

    801?

The serial # will tell you the year of the tranny but not always the tractor because more than a few have different trannys in them!!

'62 Ford Industrial 2000 Need help broke something

Jim sounds like you broke off a tooth of one of the gears in the rear-end! "DON'T DRIVE IT" and drain it and get it out of there before it does more DAMAGE!! Good Luck GT65

'62 Ford Industrial 2000 Need help broke something

It"s a non-schronized transmission you have to have every thing moving at the same speed or something will break! I ruined a 4spd tranny in an 841 once. Got it stuck and tried to "rock it out", 1st to Reverse. BAM!,clunk, clunk, clunk! Not one of my finer moments!!

    Remove Oil Film

I"ve used regular dish washing soap before and it works pretty good! Well, ya figure egg yoke left on a plate for only a couple of hours is pretty tough and it takes care of that and the plate is "squeaky" clean with no soapy residue!! Damn!, I"ve gotta get back to the garage!! I"m starting to...

    641 Sheetmetal Question (Hood)

I believe where the dash bolts to the steering housing and where the hood mounts to the front axle there are two sets of holes. You want to be in the lower sets. I think the upper sets are for the 801 and 901 which have a bigger gas tank and slightly wider hood!! GT65

    Winter's Project-Finished

A lot of people don't like the looks of the "Gold Demonstrators"! When they're restored as nice as yours I think they look great!

    Help !!!Stolen Tractor

I wish you luck my friend, there isn"t much worst than a thief in my book! Old tractors didn"t have to be registered like cars. You would have to have the original title and match it to a serial number. I wish you luck! GT65

Good Buy? What could be wrong with it?

That's a great buy, even for a "parts" tractor! Hell, 2 good rear tires will cost more than $600, why do you think Abby Normal was so eager to check it out for you!(LOL)If you don't grab it quick,it will be gone!! GT65
