    I was wondering if anyone could tell me how much play there should be on the hydraulic pump drive gear. I just replaced the piggyback pump and noticed the main pump drive gear seems to have a lot of play in it. Being a keyed shaft I would think it should be a tight fit. I haven't pulled it off...

    Can someone direct me to a link that shows how to hook up the ropes for a row marker on a #10 drill? I recently purchased a parts machine and would like to use the markers. Thanks, Dave.

    Fuel appears to flow normal. I pulled line off of carb and pushed down button and flowed fine. Drained carb to see how much was in float bowl, appeared like there is plenty available.

    JD H Rebore Specs

    I did my H a couple of years ago. What I did was remove shims and then hone to get round again. Kept honing until I had proper clearance on the crank. I'm not a mechanic, but it seems to run well.

    Why do people work ground so early?

    I worked a small patch here in Ontario a couple of weeks ago to plant some spring grains for feed. No such thing as too early for that if the ground is ready.

    Should I be doing this with engine running or off? Prime with the hitch lever? I moved the lever back and forth a few times, maybe I just need to do it some more. Thanks for the reply.

    I have an old dwell tach that I use. One wire hooks up to the coil wire, other to ground. They are not used much any more, ebay should have one cheap.
