    Parts washer fluid

I use varsol and concentrated "Gunk". 1 gal. Gunk to 5 gal. varsol. Works pretty well. I have also used the gunk with the TSC parts cleaner, it also worked well.

    Cabinet sandblaster

I run a 6' cabinet with a fairly large nozzle. I use a 2 stage porter cable 80 gal. at 175 psi., it feeds 2 other 80 gal. tanks in series. It works well and tends to knock out water real well. It will keep ahead of the bead blaster, but just barely.

    Nice straight 656 Hydro

Here's one my son and I fixed up last year. Had a blown torque amplifier. Quite a job to rebuild it.

    Zero Turn Mower recommendations

I have had a "Grasshopper" front mount diesel for about 6 years now. The only things I have done to it were changing the blades and the oil. It has a Kubota diesel engine, but you can get them with gas engines also.

    Sand blast cabinet dust removing

A shop vac will work fine, been using one for years. Be sure to have a source for air to get in the box for circulation and to prevent to much vacuum buildup. I have a one inch hole drilled in mine and it seems to be about right. It will suck up some good reusable beads, but you can get a...

    Farmall torque amplifier

I am not experienced with operating a T/A, but I have seen the result of one of them over reving. I bought a 656 to restore a while back that had a blown T/A. Parts of the clutch disc and pressure plate came out through the top cover and left a hole about the size of a base ball. It came out...

    Replacement Windows

I am in the process of flipping a house for resale. I had 9 vinyl, 6 pane, double hung, insulated windows put in for just under $2000.00. That was removing the old aluminum ones and installing the new ones. They are totally vinyl and I examined a cut away of the window before buying them...

    Cash accepted .....

I went to a local appliance store a year or so ago and picked out a stove and dishwasher. They would not take cash and I didn't have my checkbook or credit card. They just told me to give the man a check when he delivered the items. Strange way to do business.

    tool of the evening

Don't know how it got it's name, but where I worked they called them "Rollicking rods". We had some that were 6 feet long.

    2017 Ford F150

Keep in mind that the eco-boost has twin turbo's and it makes it's maximum horse power (around 375 HP)at around 1800 RPM's. Pulls well, runs fast and gets good mileage

    Parts washer question

Tractor supply sells solvent in 5 gal. cans or you can use varsol mixed with some Gunk concentrate parts cleaner.

    Excellent service

We all tend to gripe and complain about lousy products or service we receive, but I would like to relate a good experience with a company that I recently had. I have a 20 plus year old Porter Cable air compressor (2 stage, 80 gal.) that was just about worn out. My son and I share a shop and...

Does anyone have a used PTO Shaft and a ORC

Provided everything is OK inside the tractor you can order the shaft with the bearing already attached for less than $100.00. It is then simply a matter of unbolting the shaft at the rear of the tractor (4 bolts) slide it out and sliding the new one in. You can get the shaft with the...

    Fast 8N question

Just remember that if you spray anything in the clutch housing that is flammable, to be careful. If you hit the starter the gear can cause a spark when it hits the flywheel. I speak from experience when I say it can throw out a real nice fireball.
