    Thanks for replying! It is a 3130, but they used the same as 2840 and whole bunch of other pre 1985 tractors above 60HP!

    Has anyone found a replacement for the seat absorber used on pre 1985 JD's. JD PN=AL39942. Their website shows it is still available for $67.26. But that seems high just a tiny shock absorber. Was told a golf cart one might work??? thanks
