Help me identify this loader
Thanks for all the comments. I will see if I can contact Great Bend. I believe a little fabrication for the rear mounts and some for the side frame mounts and it should work.- Hayburner

Thanks guys. The other commenter thought it was an IH 2001 loader. Any reason why this would not mount on my 5000? I know I would have to fabricate mounts to the axle, but I don't know about the side plates for the frame if they would work, or if I had to fabricate those as well. It's a...- Hayburner

Help me identify this Fore loader
Thanks Rick. Is there some way you are seeing it is an IH? I have been searching several times online for various pictures, and it does match up closely with some Ford Industrial loaders I have found, but I cannot see enough detail in the pictures to be sure. I will post in the IH forum. -

I too have a 1968 5000 with SOS. I bought it from a guy there in Johnson Creek years ago and I still use it to bale hay. I cannot think of a better tractor for doing so since it's so easy to change speeds depending on conditions. I moved from Wisconsin to here in western Colorado 5 years ago... -

Is this a gas or diesel? I have a 5000 diesel, and if that is what you are rebuilding, I will be watching this thread very closely. As you go through the process, any kind of detail you can provide or pictures would be very greatly appreciated. -

I've had my 5000 Diesel for several years now, it has the SOS and I love it for cutting, raking, tedding and baling hay. I have a 9 foot Gehl 1090 Haybine and it pulls it fine. Rusty Bolt Test
