    my 3010 gas john deere used to start with no problems.But not anymore Cleaned the carb a few times.Have a spark and the plugs are dry but even with quick start she won"t fire up sometimes with quickstart they should at least make an attempt What could it be??????

    Thanks Bob after the replies I was able to locate the problem and it's in the controls for the frontendloader.

    When the engine idles it seems to try to push the hydraulic oil when the steering or frontendloader is operated without load the engine runs a lot smoother,since now it doesn't have to push the oil. Is there somewhere a relieve valve that can be adjusted?

    It seems that the tractor lugs because of oil pressure (resistance) build up. But when using the steering or frontend loader the engine runs smoother and as soon as neither is being operated the engine lugs again also the oil line that feeds the frontendloader gets warm quite quickly.How can...

    At one time I had the dash completely removed and by reinstalling the connector rods to the gearshifter which is mounted on the dash the connector rods length got changed and now not all the gears work and the rest are difficult to get in.How to adjust the connector rods and to what length?
