Oil line for rocker arms/ 1955 Ford 600 134 CID

That makes more sense. I just got mine back together so cannot measure the line but it is in the 1/4-5/16 range.

7/16 OD seems big for that line. I could see it being 5/16..

I would try a steel brake line. I havve not measured the lines, but that would be my first try.

    Frustrating fuel issue...

Curious, how does closing the choke make it run leaner? Closing the choke drops pressure in the intake air passages. More fuel from the float bowl, at normal atmospheric pressure, flows into the air stream. This makes the Fuel/Air ratio more rich.... Doesn't it?

    Overcurrent burning coils

To me the key could be right here. "already begun melting the end of the insulation at both ends". If everything is correct the whole wire should melt as the same time. The fact the wire only melted on the ends indicates bad connections. Bad connections create high resistance and HEAT.

    Flywheel Timming Marks

They are not easy to see. If there is any clutch dust or oil at all you will not see them. Find TDC using you wrench. Then look.

    Frustrating fuel issue...

I once has a similar issue. I have a fuel shed away from the barn where I store all fuels, cans funnels etc. Funnel hangs on a nail in the shed. While trouble shooting the stalling issue, I found some "gooey" fibrous material floating around in the tank. Turned out, spiders had been building in...

    Flywheel Timming Marks

Roll your engine to near TDC using air blowing in/out the #1 spark plug hole to get close. then look for the marks, The are on the flywheel NOT the ring gear. After finding mine, I put some orange paint on the ring gear where the marks are.

    3600 rear main bearing replacement

If you split the tractor. Put the engine on a stand. Flip it over and do it the right way. If you are replacing the bearings, are you going to polish the crank. If the bearings are bad, so is the crank. “Why is it there is never enough time to do something right, but there is time to do it over?”

What does this bolt go to that leaks below the level plug on a Ford 2600?

Can you see that bolt looking in the fill hole?

broken bolt, tried to drill bolt out and bit broke off down inside bolt. any ideas

What does the broken bolt do? IF it holds a part that is also held in place by other bolts, you can use the part as a jig to remove the broken bit. IF this is the case, let me know I will explain the process.

    Brake line repair

I have done it this way for years. BUT, I do not open all at the same time. I start with the one with the shortest path to the master cylinder, leave it for a couple of hours. then move on. Do the longest line last.
