    Florida Solar panels questions

Solar power as an energy source has its place in the world. Planning to make money by selling energy to a local power company is NOT a valid reason to leap into a solar power system. There are lots of reasons why a Yesterday’s Tractor guy would set up a solar power system.

    no oil pressure

First, if you have no oil pressure, shut the engine off. DO NOT RESTART until you find and solve the problem. Remove the distributor. Use a drill with 1/4” socket to drive the pump. You will feel some resistance in the drill IF the pump is moving oil. The resistance will increase as you speed...

    Utility Trailer Brake Battery

NO you cannot do this!! IF your trailer is wired so the tow vehicle can charge the battery, Connection those two wires will provide a short circuit for the tow vehicle charging system. HOPEFULLY there would be a fuse in that circuit to protect the system from that calamity.

Oil line for rocker arms/ 1955 Ford 600 134 CID

That makes more sense. I just got mine back together so cannot measure the line but it is in the 1/4-5/16 range.

Oil line for rocker arms/ 1955 Ford 600 134 CID

7/16 OD seems big for that line. I could see it being 5/16..

Oil line for rocker arms/ 1955 Ford 600 134 CID

I would try a steel brake line. I havve not measured the lines, but that would be my first try.

    Frustrating fuel issue...

Curious, how does closing the choke make it run leaner? Closing the choke drops pressure in the intake air passages. More fuel from the float bowl, at normal atmospheric pressure, flows into the air stream. This makes the Fuel/Air ratio more rich.... Doesn't it?

    Overcurrent burning coils

To me the key could be right here. "already begun melting the end of the insulation at both ends". If everything is correct the whole wire should melt as the same time. The fact the wire only melted on the ends indicates bad connections. Bad connections create high resistance and HEAT.

    Flywheel Timming Marks

They are not easy to see. If there is any clutch dust or oil at all you will not see them. Find TDC using you wrench. Then look.
