I have a 1964 Fordson Dexta Petrol and I would like to convert it to electronic ignition. Can anyone confirm if this kit will work on this tractor?

I cannot speak to that system. I have installed a different system on 3 different engines. First a Kohler K241 10hp Single Cylinder. Second one on an Onan B43 6hp twin cylinder. Third on my Ford 861. It works great on all of them. Gives HOT spark even if the battery it a bit low.
