    S.C.R.A.P Show !

Hi Mike, your family's old DC sold for $725, and the repainted DC next to it (with radiator shutters even) sold for $875. Both looked like nice tractors, and hopefully they went to good homes. Our 1950 DC was on display there. I was hoping to bring home the Case E-2 elevator from the sale there...

    S.C.R.A.P Labor Day Show.

Hi Mike, as my brother Drew said we'll definitely be there. Our dad is repainting the hood on the VAC and the fenders on the DC in preparation for the show as I type this. Hope to meet up with you sometime while there.

    Case dealership Truck

Mike, yes our 1944 VAC and 1949 SC are pictured on the truck. Both were sold new through the dealership. I believe my dad had just bought the VAC the fall that the picture was taken. It has since been repainted. What kind of deliveries to your farm with the truck do you remember?

    Case dealership Truck

In 1968 My grandfather purchased a new Chevy TE 50 truck (tilt-cab, cab over engine) for use at our family's dealership. It has a Mid Equipment roll-back bed with a hydraulic winch for loading and unloading equipment. The truck was purchased new from the local Chevy dealer and my grandfather...

    Combine Elevator Flights

For those of you with operating Case combines, what is a good source for rubber elevator flights and chains? Several flights need replacing on our 960 combine but I have yet to find a source for anything. Thanks for any suggestions.

    what is it Game

That is on your 660 combine. The tire was the final clue, not to mention the fact that other than the rotating fan screen that part of the machine is identical to the 960 that my family owns.

    what is it Game

I knew it right away! But I'll be quiet to give others a chance first...having a similar model helps lol.

    The other 10 %

Congratulations on finally making the deal, and not giving up on it. I remember reading your original posts from when you first found it and had wondered how it would all turn out. Good luck on getting it home, and keep us posted.

    Wheat Harvest and Baling

Here are some pictures of the action around our place the past couple of weeks. First is harvesting with the 960 combine. We did some heavy hauling with the VAC too. Lastly, we used our new Case 200 baler for the first time. After working through a few bugs it seems to be working great so far...

    Wauseon Round Three.

Thanks for the compliments. I was taking a lot of pictures rather quickly, so I was glad too that they turned out well. The picture quality is slightly reduced though because I had to resize them in order to post them. It was a really amazing show with a lot of rare and interesting machines.

    Wauseon Round Three.

Round three of pictures from the Wauseon Threshing show last weekend. Pictures are as follows: 1.) & 2.) an LA with a GM engine; 3.) 20-40 gas tractor; 4.) 1200; 5.) 10-20 three-wheeled tractor; 6.) another 20-40 gas tractor; 7.) 30-60 gas tractor (one of only five known to exist); 8.) 500...

    More Wauseon Pictures

I was surprised at how quiet and smooth the 40-72 seemed to be when running. There was a big Case model 30-60 there as well, and that tractor really roared and seemed to shake the whole machine when it was running - still cool to see.

    More Wauseon Pictures

Here are some more pictures from the Wauseon Threshing show. The forth-to-last picture is a 12-25 tractor, and the last three are of the 40-72 crossmotor. That tractor was amazing to see. Notice in the very last picture that it is just about as large as the later 1200 tractor!

    Wauseon Threshing Show

I'm not exactly sure, but I assume it is different from state to state. I believe Ohio's standards became more stringent after the Medina County Fair engine explosion back in 2001.
