    I have my wiring sorted out for now. Tractor drives fine in all forward gears but is very weak in reverse. I will change fluid and filter. Any other thoughts or adjustments?

    Is there a throttle return spring on these tractors? Foot throttle stays down and has to be pulled back up to idle.

    Any tips on replacing the hand throttle cable on my 970. I have removed it in the quadrant but the forward end under the floor is another story . I can feel the cotter pin, but the clevis pin is seized and very little access. Is it possible to back off the locknut and just unscrew the old cable...
