624 agriomatic

I have my wiring sorted out for now. Tractor drives fine in all forward gears but is very weak in reverse. I will change fluid and filter. Any other thoughts or adjustments?

Thanks for update, the 624 were a very good tractor, there were a few around our neighborhood but only one had the agriomatic transmission.

What is an agromatic ttansmission?Hydro?shuttle shift?torqe converter?some kind of powershift?ther?Never heard that term

Delta, that is a Neuss, Germany built tractor mainly sold in Europe. See the Tractor Data link, scroll down to see the transmission explanation. For some reason the 624 does not show up on the CNHI online parts site.

My Dads friend really liked the Agromatic transmission as he had a left foot injury that made it difficult to use a clutch.
There were several 624s, a few 724s and 824s in eastern Ontario,Canada before the IH 54/74 series tractors were available.
Like I said before they are good reliable tractor.
