    Thanks for the help guys. It went cheap at an auction and probably just going to sell it. It runs really good but smokes and doesn t stop smoking when warm. It was way overfull on oil and air filter was overfull of water/oil mixture. Maybe if I m lucky one of those 2 things is the reason...

    I recently purchased this tractor and don t know for sure what model it is. The 3 digit casting stamp is either 641 or 841 but I can t tell for sure what the first digit is. Can you guys tell which one it is from the pictures. I think I attached some pictures. I guess we ll find out if I did...

    1520 hydraulic noise

    I have a 1520 gas with a loader on it. It makes a noise coming from the hydraulic pump area that sounds like a bearing going bad. It goes away when any of the hydraulic functions are used but come back as soon as you stop using the loader/3 pt. I just changed the pump coupling bushings...

    855 no start

    This tractor doesn’t have glow plugs, just the intake heater. The oil on the dipstick didn’t look milky but I will drain oil pan tonight and see what it looks like. Thanks for the advice. I’ll post an update if things get better or worse with it.

    The intake heater is working. I can see and feel it getting warm. It has good fuel flow to the injection pump. It need a new fuel filter assembly so I temporarily bypassed filter so fuel is going directly from electric pump to injection pump. It definetly feels like it has compression...

    Dieseltec I just did as you said and loosened the timing cover and it ran perfect and reved up like it should. That test means that it is plastic piece or it just means there is some kind of problem with pump? Thank you
