Oliver super 77 with front wheel assist

I was browsing Tractorhouse 2 years ago and saw an Oliver Super 77 with a front wheel assist. It was located in California. So many questions! Has anyone seen this before? Are there any others around? Where was the front end purchased and who made it? How did the drive hook up to the output...

    John Deere 6420 engine skipping

Hi All: Thank you for all the comments. Sorry for taking so long to respond. I'm afraid to drive the tractor after JDSeller said. I don't think the injectors are streaming rather than spraying because there is no light blue smoke or any noticeable smoke exiting the exhaust pipe. The...

    John Deere 6420 engine skipping

Got a 6420 green and yellow lemon that seems to have an injector pump problem. It starts when cold and runs smoothly at a low idle. Try to speed it up and it sounds like a 2 banger. The tractor shuts itself off sometimes. Shut it off and restart and put it under load may make it run...

    BH flywheel wrench variant?

I got these 2 wrenches at an auction. The top one is clearly a JD B and H flywheel wrench. The bottom one is very similiar, fits the same size nut, but it doesn"t have an angled gooseneck. Anyone able to ID this wrench"s maker and application? Thank you.

    1959 770 positive ground?

You should check the polarity of the primary wires on the coil. A negative ground system will have the positive terminal connected to the ignition switch and the negative terminal going to the distributor. George

    70 engine noise

If you do pull the pistons, You may as well check the rod and main bearing clearance. Just clean the inserts and the caps and use some plastiguage to measure clearance. George.

    First tractor you operated

I was driving at 5 with adults nearby and 6 years old solo. I drove a 1956 Chockshutt 540 and a 1955 Oliver Super 77 rowcrop. I could stand on the clutch and brake while pulling on the steering wheel to apply enough pressure on the Chockshutt. For the Oliver, I'd slide off the seat wedging...

New Idea 323 husking bed plugs

That sounds like a great idea. I'm going to give it a try. The owner is persistent and patient having to unplug it twice each pass. He is almost done picking this year so I won't find out how well it works till next year. Thanks for your advice.

New Idea 323 husking bed plugs

I"m using a 1 row New Idea corn picker. This year, the husks are not breaking off the ear easily and just get cought at the end of the husking bed. It builds up to a dozen or so ears hanging there stopping them from leaving the husking bed and going in the elevator. 2 of the rubber rollers...

mf 85 hydraulics going going ...

Hi there! I have an MF 85 gas tractor that I just got running a couple years ago. It had been parked ,not running, for almost 30 years. The PTO and power steering works. The hydraulics are sluggish when cold and will not operate a tail gate on a manure spreader when warm. I would call that...
