mf 85 hydraulics going going ...

Hi there!
I have an MF 85 gas tractor that I just got running a couple years ago. It had been parked ,not running, for almost 30 years. The PTO and power steering works. The hydraulics are sluggish when cold and will not operate a tail gate on a manure spreader when warm. I would call that not working at all. There may be some pressure but in the lower triple digits. It has the same trouble lowering the gate as raising it. The 3 point hitch works also when it is cold (I didn’t try it when warm). It has a 2 spool valve in front of the seat for 1 double acting remote and the other for the 3 point hitch. I had the draft and position control all the way up and lowered the 3 pt. hitch to make sure the pump was on. Now the bad news. I did drain a large quantity of water from the transmission. There was still water in the system. I had to flush the system a few times to get the milkey stuff out. The fluid looks good now. How should I start troubleshooting this problem and what things should I look for?
Thanks George

The steering and PTO run off the pump on the
right side of the tractor and is a seperate system
from the three pont and auillary hydraulics.
It appears that the auxillary pump is getting weak.
It may be the pistons, the valves, pressure releif valve or possibly the control valve. At any rate the problem is usually obvious once you pull the pump out and inspect it.
