    Hey all. This tractor has a new battery and new Voltage regulator (105289 from here). The alternator that was on it has been rebuilt (Delco 1100828). The battery will drain down overnight.     You sir, are my favorite person today. I finally got it broke loose. Probably not the best approach but I used a dead blow to give some taps to the shifter in both directions and used a long pry at through the fill hole. Thank you!

    It runs and will work perfectly in L,H,R,1. The slot for 2,3 is lined up with N. I just cant get the gears to shift forward or backward to engage 2 or 3.

    Tractor sat for an about 8 years. About 6 months ago I got the shifter to run between N, R, and 1st. The shifter fork will move over the 2/3 side but cant for the life of me get it to move forward or backward to engage either gear. Im afraid of forcing it too much. Help?

    I can actually see through the spark plug hole and see when the piston is up top. In the attached photo I marked everything. Getting ready to be on vacation for a while so will get back to it later.

    I used a turkey baster to put some gasoline directly into each cylinder, then quickly reinstall the plugs. It still would not fire. I put the old condenser back in. Still not firing. I pulled each spark plug out and keep them on the wire to check for spark. I have spark on each plug. I'm...
