    Bushings on backhoe - pressed or welded

    need to repair badly worn bushing on the dipper pivot of my old Wain-Roy, is the factory bushing welded in or just pressed in? if pressed in I plan to sawzall it into sections, take it out in chunks then make new one on lathe if welded that is a bigger job, 1.5 inch pins = expensive drills

    The Cockshutt 30 I am restoring was augmented by spare parts from another Cockshutt 30. When I received the tractor, there were two tool boxes mounted - one on the lefet with a lid and one on the right without a lid. I can't find a picture or drawing that shows the proper location and...

    3 Pt. hitch wood splitter advice?

    Thanks everyone for your feedback. I know about the slow cycle time of the 3 pt models with my old tractor - I've borrowed one, but I wouldn't use it much and it is small and easy to store with no maintenance. Howard

    3 Pt. hitch wood splitter advice?

    I"m looking for a wood splitter for my Ford 4 cyl 4000 (1964 vintage diesel 4 cyl similar to 800 I believe). According to the service manual it has a 4 or 4.7 gpm hydraulic pump. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks, Howard
