    Farmall 100

Actually the 100 is the follow-on to the Super A. The 200 followed the Super C. Our 100 had the one point Fast Hitch, whilst the 200 had the two-point Fast Hitch.

    Help in Identifying Combine

Can anyone tell me the make and model of this combine? It's an old photo of my dad (on combine) and uncle (on the John Deere D, I believe?) taken in 1928 near Hugoton, Kansas. Your help would be appreciated. HMR

Combining in SD in the 2010s

The end of an era. Nephew traded the IH 2388 for a JD 9760 Bullet Rotor combine with 35' header. Can you see it peeking around the side of my old red barn? First JD combine ever on our farm. I guess all things eventually have to change.

Combining in SD in the 80s and 90s

Paul traded the 503 for an IH 1460 some time in the 80s. He hauled many a load with his IH 1800 Loadstar. He also harvested sunflowers using a JD All-Crop head.

Combining in SD in the 70s

My brother Paul switched from the IH 151 to an IH 503 LPG sometime in the 70s. He added the newer style feeder house so that he could mount an 844 cornhead and an 810 dummy head with a Sund pickup for wheat.
