    Have to drain the rear end pull pto and the plate above it, (if it's three point it's the third link). It's three big orings you can get from a good hydraulic repair shop for should be less than$20. IF the bushings aren't worn (not common to be worn) or the smaller piece on the left is worn...

    Hmmmm, thinking out loud probably, if the valve stems are different. Did they make different rocker arms or different push rods to compensate?? Also can a guy set the intake when the same cylinders exhaust is open?

    What's the lift capacity of a 560 FH?

    My father plowed with 560 gas, three bottom rollover. I'm not sure how, when he bought an 806 I plowed terraces with the same three bottom rollover, it made the front end light on the 806, no front weights tho. He did break an axle on the 560, replaced it and kept going!

    It's been a year or so, I can't remember for sure, but I think you can just do the top. If we're talking about the same thing, they're little bitty ones. And you'll need a new gasket.

    Oh yea the garter spring is a bugger, I used a thin piece of plastic cut from a milk jug and a bander for calf nuts to expand it.

    I took em apart and took the orings to the local hydraulic shop that rebuilds all kinds cylinders and valves (so know I'm getting the best orings available if he uses em). It might be $10ish to buy all of them. And yes they're all available, I've done several on 400's.

    Conundrum on rear axle seals

    In looking up rear axle seals for 3288 (part #535667r91) and 1206 (part #378077r91) the price difference between the two from some sources is substantial, the dimensions from what I can find are the same. At least one source in parenthesis says newer models use the 535...# anyone have insight on...

    Sorry, I shoulda put in more details before. already adjusted freeplay as per the manual. With the bottom cover off. pressure plate arms aren't touching the throwout.
