    Varment rifle

I've got a Savage Model 93 in .22 mag and wouldn't trade it for nothing. I think the .22 mag is way under rated. I have taken fox at 130 yds dead as a doornail. Waiting to catch my first coyote when he aint looking.

    36A Steering Lube

I did just find a seal in the catalog, whether it is still available or not I don't know. I am tempted to just clean it out good and repack it with grease. It has obviously worked the last 60 years that I know and there is no excessive wear in there. Why replace a cork seal thats going to...

    36A Steering Lube

My steering was a little loose so using my 1936 operators manual I found the procedure for adjustment. I have never had the cover off the top of the pedestal even though this tractor has been in my family since day one. I found the cavity packed with wheel bearing grease and thought this to be...

Work boots...Can we rehash this again?

I had the exact same thing happen to me with Durashocks and even wrote to Wolverine about how upset I was over there piece of crap chinese shoes. They didn't care. Did a little research and found a shoe company in misouri called Justin. Been very happy with the durability so far. They do...

    .22 cal pellet rifle

KILL THEM ALL! Don't release the things anywhere. You just make more work for me to kill them all! :) They do carry a lot of disease according to the vets I know.

    1939 John Deere Model A

I'm afraid to say that I was watching your dogs more than I was you. Mine does the same thing, they have to watch and see what you are doing. By the way, you work much faster than I do! Steve

    Yikes! An expensive habit.

I'm a Ford technician and what is most important is the filter. Good 5W20 oil is important in the newer engines too but the problem is the cheap junk oil filters. The glue that they use in the filter gets into the oikl passages and plugs them up. TRASHES the engine. Only use Motorcraft...

    What plow goes with a 1936 A

I just so happen to have 36 A that I am putting back together. My grandpa bought it new and we have always used a #44 which he got with the tractor. It's a 2-14 and we live in clay. We never had any problem pulling it in 2nd gear.

    ORIGINAL John Deere GP pics

Gee whiz...this is the kind of treatment I see at another website I frequent. At least there we all agree that refinishing an old gun RUINS the value. Otherwise its a bunch of grumpy old men! By the way in my opinion these tractors are lovely. You paint them and they all look the same.

    60 countershaft endplay shim size?

I've got to put the transmission back together in my A so I'm going to be doing the same thing. You don't suppose they come as a kit of a half dozen or so do you? That price would be crazy for just one!

    OT--Coffee Maker Surprise

Since Oldtanker brought it up I too have had one company in my life shock me with their Customer service and that was Ruger. Sent my shotgun in for some repair which I knew would be covered by their warranty and then asked them to disconnect the automatic safety while they were at it. That was...

    Skeet Shooting School

I shoot a lot of skeet and you definately don't need a lot of shot for the game. I shoot everything from .410 to 12ga. Open skeet choke is the best but if you only have the two guns to choose from go with the modified auto. When you shoot the double birds with the O/U you will have one barrel...
