8N engine rebuild
Side mount all the way. I don't believe there is any difference in the blocks other than that.- J. Franklin

If I remember what my friend told me (he is in contact with the factory guy who took care of the tractor) it is a four cylinder. The diesal is a three cylinder. What year did Ford make a four cylinder 2000? He said the decals are new, so who knows. He will try to get photos tomorrow.- J. Franklin

rustoleum paint professional or regular
Try dupli-color brand, and use their clear coat. Works pretty good. As far as their color choice they use vin numbers, but I don't know about old tractor finishes they might have.- J. Franklin

Ford High OIl Pressure Problem TW25
You may have an oil journal/piping stopped up. Strange, indeed. Will an incorrect oil filter cause this? (I put a spin on adapter on a 57 Chevy 283 and installed a recommended filter and it would run about 30 seconds and then blow out the filter. Never did get it to work. Went back to the...- J. Well, I let it go. He got down to $1300, but I don't hear it running. To me it is a parts tractor until I hear the engine start. Yea. I don't think he will let me take the cover off the tranny and try to unstick it. Still, it is worth almost that much money in parts. I don't believe it has a dent anywhere. We'll see in the morning when I go look at it.- J. Franklin

I am going to look at a 54 NAA that is stuck between gears. The person who owns it drug it out of a barn where it has been for two years. He probably toasted the tranny, but it was on grass/dirt. However the tires are loaded. (and in good shape, as are the rims) The tractor is complete, good...- J. Franklin
