    exhaust manifold on 1550 diesel

    The threaded pipe between the exhaust manifold and the muffler on my 1550 diesel can no longer be tightened to a snug fit. I believe the threads in the exhaust manifold are stripped. Do I need a new exhaust manifold and pipe? Will a new pipe with fresh threads be enough to get a tight fit...

    I remember Dad's tool box being mounted on the side of the main frame. But I have seen the type of tool box you describe mounted under the seat. Do you think it's possible to find such a tool box (side mounted) out there?
