    My brother has A4t-1400 SN:439000154 with a cab. It has a 585 with the internal oil pump. It is in very good running condition. The tractor is in located in central MN.     My brother made some battery trays that would fit on the newer MM's but I am sure they will work on the UB. I could check with him and see if they would fit.

    MM pull type picker/sheller

    My father had one of those pull type shellers and converted it to a stand alone sheller to use for shelling corn from ear corn bins. The loading auger system was from an old feed grinder mixer. The hopper box made it nice since you could change wagon boxes without stopping the machine.

    tach meter on 445

    You could have a tach from a 5 Star. They have a clockwise rotating cable. The 445 has the needle pointing to the left as you look at it and the 5 Star has the needle pointing to the right.

    Spin on oil filters for R Z

    I use the adapter for the spin on oil filters and have noticed that the filters now have the anti-drain back feature on them. Will this be a problem since the oil flow shown in the manual shows the oil entering the filter from the outside and exiting from the center. It is my under standing...

    I could not find any ZTE"s on my serial number lists. The only one I ever saw was a ZTU that had the front end replaced, probably from a ZAE.
