    sounds like timing off or valve problems . do a compression test .

    on my 2N I used a 4" angel grinder with a cup wire brush with twisted wire for the rust and cast iron parts . i also used dollar store oven cleaner ,spray it on let it set for an hour and a half or longer rub with steel wool then wash off with water hose .repeat if necesary. this will leave...

    the 9N and 2 N motors were marked 9N ******the 8N began with 8N .to learn more do as I did go to your farm store and purchase a FO-4 Ford shop manuel by I & T shop service. they are on this site also you will find out as I did how little you Know about the Ford Furgerson and the Ford 8N.

    Marvel Schebler - Which rebuild kit? 9N

    I have a 2N that had a TSX 241B the kit i bought was a complete Kit . it is sold to rebuild the 33 , 241A, B, and C it had two or three parts that were not needed for my 241B. The 9N and 2N came with the TSX 33
