    Oils types and filter placement on a JD 440ID

    I doing maintenance on a JD 440ID. Need to know where to get the filters, where are the filters on the tractor (air, oil, gas), and what are the suggested hydraulic oil and engine oil weights.

    It will take a little bit for me to get a picture with a view from the back. The numbers on the arm of the backhoe are N12918U with an S underneath.

    I can't identify which JD440 I have. It is a diesel engine, positive ground starting system, with a loader and backhoe. I've found Model 71, Series 3507 on a plate on the frame. Stamped on the frame is M4258T, and on the backhoe N12918U. Can anyone help? I need to know which kind to find the...
