    Try welding a 5/8-11 unc nut to the exposed end of manifold stud with or without old stud nut on (I think I grounded to 5/8 nut-not sure) and get it really hot (don't melt it).     AI or John Deere Radiator?

    I was repairing two cylinder bolted radiators which use gaskets. You will have no gaskets on a JD 4030 radiator. Take your old radiator to a good radiator shop and and get their cost to repair. Repair it if it's not in bad condition.
