    The serial number says it’s a 1969 model. My guess is maybe it was used when purchased.

    Trying to figure out what year this tiller is. Here is a pic of the serial number I was told it was bought in 1975 but l can’t find anything that aligns with that.

    Like the title says it’s for a jd 620. It’s the one that has the bolt through to tighten it down. Surfed the web a can’t find one Does anyone know where you can get one?

    How is the rear light grounded on a 620

    I can get the light to work on the bench but when I put it on the tractor I get nothing. I can use a jumper wire back to the battery and get it to work. Is it supposed to be grounded to the outer part of the light via the little flat brass looking tab?

    That?s kinda what I think too. Do you have to replace the whole starter or can you just replace the switch

    JD 620 won't turn over. the battery is good and so is the ground on the battery. I need a starting point on troubleshooting. if I pull the starter off is there a way I can test it?

    Haven't used the lights much but turned them on the other night and wires started to fry. When I turn the lights on the ammeter pegs on the neg side and start to arc on one of the terminals. I'm sure that something is shorting out but where is a good place to start?
