Got a leak. :(
Thank you, Old. As you can see from the pic, I do not have to have a perfect tractor. :p I just wanted to make sure something major was not damaged. If I have time this winter, I want to disassemble and paint it. I can replace the seals then. -

Got a leak. :(
So, as you can see from the photo, I have a pretty bad leak. I believe it consists of engine oil AND hydraulic oil. It's coming from where the tractor separates. Any clues as to what kind of trouble I'm going to find when I split the tractor? The leak just started out of the blue... -

Beautiful! I love that sharp yellow! Just curious, why didn't you paint the inside of the bucket? I know it wouldn't last long, but it would look nice for a few days. :) -

Quick Hitches
Hello friends. I'm looking into quick hitches recently, and I was wondering if you guys used them/liked them. Anyone make their own? I'd be really interested in doing that. I really like the idea of a quick hitch, but not sure I'm willing to drop a few hundred bucks on pure laziness.- jbordelon

My paw-in-law loaned me his 3-pt rototiller that he hasn't used in half a decade. I started cleaning it up today. Gonna paint it and put it to work. :)- jbordelon

Well you guys are saying what I was thinking anyway. I just got caught up in the shininess and low price. I figure I'd be better off just investing money into my '76 Ford 4100. It was my dad's tractor, and I inherited it. There's not much wrong with it, really. I've fixed the major problems...- jbordelon

NorTrac Tractors
Anyone have any experience with NorTrac tractors from Northern Tool? They look nice and seem like they'd have a lot of nice features. China made though, and no local dealer are two negatives for me. Free shipping, though! The price is nice, too...- jbordelon
